After Christy got married, a story grew in her heart, one she felt compelled to share. Now was the time to pursue that long-delayed dream. In January 2015, after years of working on her manuscript, it won third place in a national writing contest. That November, Library Journal named her novel the Christian Fiction Debut of the Month. By January 2016, Snow Out of Season topped Amazon bestseller charts.
